Late Mr. Ajitsinh Patankar started the venture along with other family members, formed into a partnership, in the year 1966. In view of the increasing turnover, the firm was converten into a private limited company. The company is registered with the registration No. 11-28323 with the registrar of companies, Maharashtra on 27th September, 1982. The company's registred office is situated at 204, E, New Shahupuri, Station Road, Kolhapur.
The hotel in a very short time got recognition from the visitors for it's service & is now one of the oldest and reputed hotels in the city. In view of the requirements of the tourists, the hotel added one after the other services to remain in the forefromt of the lodging & hotel business in Kolhapur. The hotel is approved by the department of tourism and classified as a Two Star Hotel.
