HOTEL:
Surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains and The Tribals, Poshina is a treat for people wanting to see something different and real.
The castle is run by the descendants of the original Vaghela Rajput conquerors, who ruled up to independence in 1947/8. The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly, and the feel of staying as a guest of the royal family has been retained.
The rooms are furnished in period style, but feature bathrooms attached, with hot and cold showers, English toilets and dressing space. No TVs, telephones or intercom systems intrude the period ambiance of the castle.
All the rooms have attached baths and most modern facilities are there. Yet the Rustic charm is very much present.
The hostesses personally supervise the housekeeping and cooking, ensuring guests get the best of Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine adapted to individual tastes. And if you want to learn Indian cooking we welcome guests to visit the kitchen and learn regional recipes.
Come and experience true hospitality!
