Jodhpur is famous for its Bishnoi villages which is about 20 km. from the main city we organize this village tour in which we show you 4 to 5 different spots. Among them are the animals like dear, antelopes, peacocks . We show you the typical village life, pot making and the famous carpet seller.

Note - Govind is the only Hotel not paying any commission to any autorickshaws or taxis (as mention in the latest lonelyplanet guide book), so when you touch Jodhpur you will hear many stories like Govind Hotel is a bad place or it is closed down. Please don't be carried away by such stories.If you want to come here tell the taxis driver that you want to go to the main GPO or the railway station.Govind is just opposite the GPO and 5 mts. walk from the railway station. Festivals

No other country celebrates as many festivals as India. Every night for 5 nights, village folk come from afar, gather for Darshan, and participate in ghoomar, a traditional form of dance. The festival concludes with the Gangaur Mela where the two deities are taken out in ceremonial procession, and the divine marriage ceremony is performed.
